L'Ermita comes from a steep Priorat vineyard that Álvaro Palacios acquired in 1993. Its name recalls the old hermitage at the top of the site, where old vines grow on schist soils and slopes facing northeast. Garnacha is central to the wine's identity and to Palacios's work with the region's heritage. Attentive cultivation and hand harvesting underpin a search for both concentration and finesse. L'Ermita expresses a vision of Priorat grounded in the individuality and history of one vineyard, balancing the strength of its origins with elegance.
