Description
Il Borgo 2022 from Ambrogio e Giovanni Folonari (Tenute del Cabreo) is a Toscana IGT red made from Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grown in the Greve in Chianti estates. In the glass it ranges from ruby to deep purple and releases aromas of red fruit (morello cherry), floral notes and spicy, incense-like accents. On the palate it is structured and balanced, with smooth tannins and a finish that recalls chocolate, tobacco and vanilla from oak ageing.
