Description

Antikythera is the Pinot Noir that Antica Terra makes entirely from its own small, rocky vineyard in the northernmost part of the Eola-Amity Hills. Its connection to this particular site lies at the heart of its identity. The winery describes an unconventional wine whose character reaches beyond the fruit usually associated with the variety. Cinnamon, pronounced mineral character and an especially distinctive tannic presence feature in the producer's account. This is a Pinot Noir shaped above all by its vineyard, with structure and the expression of place central to its personality.
