Antoine Sanzay’s Saumur‑Champigny Les Poyeux is a red wine made from 100% Cabernet Franc from the Les Poyeux lieu‑dit within the Saumur‑Champigny appellation. The vines are mature and rooted in clay‑limestone soils; viticulture is managed organically and with biodynamic principles. Fermentation uses indigenous yeasts and the wine is aged in wood for roughly 18 months, contributing to fine tannic structure. Aromas of dark fruit and floral hints lead to a mineral, persistent palate.
