Description

The Pinot Noir for Les Vercots comes from a clay-limestone parcel in Aloxe-Corton, in the northern Côte de Beaune. This Antonin Guyon Premier Cru is made from grapes harvested by hand into small crates and sorted on arrival at the winery. Vinification takes place in wooden vats with cap punching and controlled temperatures, followed by maturation in oak barrels. Its profile combines a garnet colour and red-fruit aromas with a dense, persistent palate and a harmonious oak component. Suggested food matches include roast meats, game and a range of cheeses.
