Description
Corton Bressandes Grand Cru comes from Antonin Guyon's vineyards at Aloxe-Corton in the Côte de Beaune. Pinot Noir is rooted in clay-limestone soils. Hand-picked into small crates, the grapes are sorted at the winery and vinified in wooden vats with cap punching and temperature control, before the wine moves into oak barrels for maturation. Its profile includes blackcurrant, raspberry, vanilla and liquorice. The palate is deep and intensely fruity, with fine tannins and well-integrated oak. Roasts, meats served with sauce, duck and pheasant are the estate's suggested accompaniments.
