Description

Les Goudelettes is Antonin Guyon's Savigny-lès-Beaune, a Pinot Noir from clay-limestone soils north of Beaune. The grapes are harvested by hand into small crates and sorted at the winery. Vinification in wooden vats includes cap punching and temperature control, before maturation in oak barrels. A garnet colour accompanies a bouquet of small berries and vanilla. The structure is fine, with a discreet tannic presence shaping the palate. Poultry, lightly prepared dishes and feathered game are suggested matches, with a serving temperature of around seventeen degrees for this village red.
