Description

Apollonio’s Vigna Vitrilli Grande 1997 is a Salento IGP Rosso produced from a blend of Primitivo, Aleatico and Negroamaro. It offers intense aromas of ripe red fruit, plum jam, warm spices and balsamic hints; on the palate it is full-bodied with firm tannins and a long finish featuring cocoa, leather and tobacco. Extended ageing in wood adds depth and a refined structural frame to the wine.
