Description

Ar.Pe.Pe's Valtellina Superiore Sassella "Rocce Rosse" 2018 is a red wine made from 100% Chiavennasca (Nebbiolo) grown on the steep terraces of the Sassella subzone. The 2018 vintage underwent extended maceration and was aged about 42 months in large casks and cement. The wine displays a vertical, mineral-driven profile characteristic of high-altitude Nebbiolo and the region's rocky soils (400–500 m elevation). It is a structured expression intended for medium-to-long term ageing.
