Description

Produced by Ar.Pe.Pe., the Valtellina Superiore Sassella “Stella Retica” 2022 is a red wine made from 100% Chiavennasca (local Nebbiolo) grown on the terraced slopes of the Sassella subzone. It undergoes an extended maceration (103 days) and about 12 months of aging in vats and barrels prior to bottling. Vineyards are south/east facing at 400–600 m elevation. Declared alcohol by volume: 13.5%.
