Description

Argentiera Bolgheri Superiore 2020 is a red wine from Bolgheri made from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc grown on the coastal hills of the Bolgheri area. Fermentation includes controlled maceration and the wine is aged in oak (barriques, tonneaux and large barrels) for approximately 14–16 months. The estate’s vineyards are planted on marl- and clay-rich soils at roughly 160–200 metres above sea level. The wine is structured and suitable with medium- to full-flavoured dishes, and it can benefit from further bottle ageing.
