Description

Clos David is Arnaud Lambert’s Saumur Blanc from Brézé, made entirely from Chenin. Its soil combines a calcareous base with silty and sandy components, a central feature of the vineyard’s identity. Maturation is divided between barriques and foudre, wooden vessels of different sizes. The winery recommends serving the wine at 12–14 °C. Suggested food partners range from scallop tartare with lemon to prawn fritters with carrot butter and goat’s cheese, offering three distinct ways to bring this Brézé Chenin to the table.
