Description

The 2021 Chardonnay “Nuits‑Blanches au Bouge” from Au Bon Climat is a Santa Maria Valley white made from fruit sourced from Bien Nacido and Le Bon Climat vineyards. It was barrel-fermented and aged approximately 20 months in new François Frères French oak, with malolactic fermentation and extended lees contact. Aromas and flavors feature concentrated citrus, vanilla and macadamia, framed by a mineral thread and lively acidity. Medium-bodied and focused, it can be enjoyed now or cellared for several years.
