Description

Aurélien Verdet Bourgogne Chardonnay is a white wine from the Hautes-Côtes environment around Arcenant, west of Nuits-Saint-Georges. Chardonnay grows on soils combining limestone and clay, within a family tradition of organic cultivation begun by Alain Verdet in 1971. The wine’s character emphasises fruit and a mineral dimension, accompanied by a hint of oak maturation. Vitality and balance define its profile, while its ability to mature allows a more developed expression to emerge with time in bottle after its initial youthful phase.
