Description

Seren is the Moscato Passito of Metilde, Mario Sandri’s family estate in Madonna di Como, on the hills of Alba. It is made from Moscato Bianco left to dry on the vine, with the development of noble rot. Late harvesting is carried out by hand and involves careful selection of individual berries. After fermentation, the wine matures in stainless steel, the estate’s choice for preserving its character. Made only in suitable vintages, Seren grew from Sandri’s experiments in the 1990s following experience in France and Portugal. The estate is named in honour of his mother.
