Description

Vigna Molsino is one of the single-vineyard expressions of the historic Nervi estate in Gattinara. Nebbiolo, locally known as Spanna, finds a setting here distinct from the Langhe: volcanic soils and a landscape dominated by Monte Rosa. Molsino is distinguished by its amphitheatre shape, giving the vineyard a clearly recognisable identity. Winemaking follows a traditional approach, with fermentation in wooden vessels and extended maturation in cask. The wine is conceived to express the character of this individual cru and the ageing potential of Nebbiolo from northern Piedmont.
