Bajta Salež’s Vitovska Majnik 2021 comes from Sales on the Trieste Karst. Its name recalls May, while the cuvée interprets Vitovska through white-wine vinification with direct pressing of the grapes. The wine matures on its lees in stainless steel, retaining an approach centred on freshness and varietal character. Its colour is straw yellow; the profile includes white and yellow flowers and suggestions of pear. A supple texture is accompanied by salinity and acidity in a delicate balance. Karst origin remains the reference for this white produced in a cellar carved into rock.
