Description

The Barbacàn Sforzato di Valtellina 2022 is a red wine classified as Sforzato di Valtellina DOCG produced on the terraced slopes of Valtellina. It is made from Chiavennasca (the local name for Nebbiolo) grown on steep alpine exposures. Grapes undergo a traditional drying/appassimento process prior to fermentation to concentrate flavors and structure. It matures in large wood vessels with additional bottle rest before release.
