Description

De Ladoucette's Pouilly-Fumé is a Sauvignon Blanc associated with the Château du Nozet vineyards and the clay-and-limestone ground around Saint-Andelain. A substantial part of the estate's vines occupies the southern side of the hill. After destemming, gravity handling accompanies pressing; fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel. The wine rests on its lees, with regular stirring, before blending and storage in glass-lined tanks. The absence of oak keeps the approach focused on freshness and on the expression of Sauvignon and its Loire origin.
