Description

The 2016 Franciacorta Dosaggio Zero Riserva “Bagnadore” by Barone Pizzini is a sparkling wine from Franciacorta (Lombardy) made from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. It comes from a single vineyard (Roccolo) farmed organically and is aged on the lees in bottle for roughly 69–70 months. The wine shows notable structure and complexity with autolytic (yeasty) notes, ripe fruit and a mineral character from the morainic soils. Recommended pairings include baked fish, white meats and mature cheeses.
