Description

Altogrado 2016 by Barraco is a Terre Siciliane IGT white from Marsala, Sicily, produced from 100% Grillo grapes. The wine is made in an oxidative style, with skin contact (about 48 hours) and maturation in chestnut barrels, initially kept full then partially emptied in later years. In bottle it displays a deep golden hue and aromas of dried fruit, almond and fig, consistent with the region’s pre‑British oxidative tradition.
