Description

Fleur de Craie 2021 from Champagne Barrat-Masson is a single-vintage Blanc de Blancs made entirely from Chardonnay grapes grown in the Côte de Sézanne (Béthon). The cuvée is certified organic and released as a Brut Nature, with winemaking carried out mainly in stainless steel to retain freshness and clarity of fruit. On the palate it shows white-flesh fruit and citrus notes with a pronounced chalky minerality reflective of its limestone soils. It pairs well with seafood and other light dishes.
