Description

Barbera d'Alba is a red wine produced exclusively from Barbera grapes grown in the Langhe. It shows an intense ruby color with purplish highlights and an aromatic profile of ripe red fruit, balsamic hints and subtle earthy notes. On the palate it displays lively acidity, smooth tannins and a full body, delivering a well-balanced structure suitable for moderate ageing. Vinification follows traditional techniques with submerged-cap fermentation and maturation for several months in medium-sized oak barrels or inert tanks.
