Description

The Bass Phillip 'Premium' Chardonnay 2021 is produced from Chardonnay fruit grown in the Leongatha and Leongatha South vineyards in Gippsland, Victoria. Grapes are whole-bunch pressed and the wine is fermented and matured in oak, spending approximately 14 months in barrel with about 46% new oak and undergoing malolactic fermentation in barrel. It shows stone fruit and citrus aromas, bright acidity and a focused structure that supports medium-term cellaring.
