Description

Bastianich Calabrone 2020 is a red wine (Venezia Giulia IGT) from Friuli-Venezia Giulia. It is a reserve-style blend built on Refosco dal peduncolo rosso and Merlot. Part of the grapes may be dried before vinification and the wine undergoes maturation in wood, resulting in a full-bodied profile with balanced tannins and aromas of ripe red fruit, spice and cocoa. It pairs well with hearty meat dishes and game, and has ageing potential over several years.
