Description

Albillo Mayor 2023 is a white wine made entirely from the Albillo Mayor grape grown in century-old vineyards near Canalejas de Peñafiel in Ribera del Duero. The grapes are worked with traditional, hands-on techniques (foot treading, basket pressing) and fermented in 500-litre barrels, with roughly seven months of lees contact. The wine is produced in small quantities and emphasizes texture and concentration typical of this single-varietal expression.
