Description

Palazzo Lana Extrême is Berlucchi’s Franciacorta Riserva dedicated to Pinot Noir. Grapes come from the estate’s Quindicipiò and Brolo vineyards in Borgonato, the latter facing the historic palace that gives the wine its name. Gentle pressing selects the heart of the finest juice; stainless-steel fermentation is followed, for some batches, by a period in barrique. The vintage cuvée ferments in bottle and undergoes extended lees maturation before disgorgement. Its structure supports a place at the table alongside substantial preparations, fish cooked in sauce and meat dishes.
