Description

Chinon Les Granges is a red wine from Bernard Baudry produced in the Chinon area of the Loire Valley, made entirely from Cabernet franc. The grapes come from vines planted between 1985 and 1988 on alluvial terraces of mixed gravels and sands; vinification includes manual harvesting, roughly two weeks of fermentation in cement vats and 7–10 months ageing in cement. The wine is juicy and fruit-forward, showing red and black fruit with a subtle floral touch, and is intended for early drinking.
