Description

Bertani’s Amarone della Valpolicella Classico comes from the Tenuta Novare estate at Arbizzano di Negrar, using Corvina Veronese and Rondinella. The grapes undergo natural drying in lofts without artificial conditioning. Slow fermentation in concrete precedes maturation in large Slavonian oak casks and further rest in bottle. The house describes its style in terms of elegance and a dry character. Its general profile evokes plum, cherry and sour cherry, with touches of tea, liquorice and spice, supported by a balance of fruit, acidity and tannin.
