Description

Colore Bianco takes Bibi Graetz to the island of Giglio, to the sea-facing Pietrabona vineyard. This white wine is made from Ansonica grown on rocky soils and granite-derived sand. Old vines are trained in the low alberello alla gigliese form, which helps protect them from wind and sun exposure. Pietrabona occupies terraces in the southwestern part of the island. The winemaking combines stainless steel and barriques, linking the wine’s production to a local grape variety and the distinctive landscape from which it comes.
