Description
Testamatta Rosso is the Toscana IGT through which Bibi Graetz interprets Sangiovese from old vines. The name recalls the producer’s creative personality, while the project seeks purity and elegance in the Tuscan grape. Listed vineyard origins include Vincigliata, Olmo, Londa, Lamole, Montefili and Siena. The soils are rich in stones, clay and galestro; training systems include bush vines and Guyot. The winery’s general presentation describes fermentation in open barriques and manual punch-downs. This label brings several vineyards together through a personal interpretation of winemaking tradition.
