Produced by BILLARD LOUIS (Domaine Billard Père & Fils), Saint‑Aubin 1er Cru Les Castets is a Pinot Noir cuvée presented as a red among the Saint‑Aubin Premier Crus. It shows a deep ruby colour with aromas of red and black fruits and slight menthol notes; the palate is broad, mineral and supported by velvety tannins. The wine is partly aged in new oak, adding structure. It pairs well with red meats, richer poultry dishes and veal.
