Description
Billecart-Salmonās Vintage Extra Brut gives Pinot Noir the leading role, supported by Chardonnay and Meunier. For the 2013 release, the grapes come from the Montagne de Reims, CĆ“te des Blancs and VallĆ©e de la Marne. Stainless-steel vinification is followed by extended ageing on the lees. The houseās description brings together fresh hazelnut, pomelo and lemon cream, alongside suggestions of blueberry and cherry clafoutis. A creamy texture accompanies a taut palate, leading to a sustained finish with a finely drawn structure and considerable depth.
