Description

Biondi-Santi’s Riserva is born at Tenuta Greppo from a selection traditionally associated with the estate’s oldest vines. Its first vintage dates to 1888, and production remains restricted to harvests considered suitable for this expression. Longevity is central to the project, as demonstrated by the archive kept in the cellar known as La Storica. Bottles from every Riserva produced rest there in niches dedicated to individual vintages. The wine therefore represents the relationship between selection, Montalcino’s territory and historical continuity, through an approach to Brunello shaped by time.
