Description

Chacra is the Chardonnay made by Bodega Chacra in collaboration with Jean-Marc Roulot, within Piero Incisa della Rocchetta's project in Argentine Patagonia. The collaboration reflects a shared interest in vineyard work and in expressing this particular place through the Chardonnay grape. For the 2021 vintage, the official technical sheet records nine months of ageing: one quarter in concrete and three quarters in French oak barrels, with a limited proportion of new wood. Different vessels therefore contribute to the development of this white wine, while its connection to the local landscape remains central to the project.
