Description

Mainqué is Bodega Chacra's Chardonnay named after the winery's home area in Patagonia's Río Negro region. It forms part of the collaboration between Piero Incisa della Rocchetta and Jean-Marc Roulot, centred on careful vineyard work and the expression of place. For the 2021 vintage, the official technical sheet specifies nine months of ageing divided between French oak barrels, concrete and stainless steel. New oak accounts for a limited share, while the use of different vessels defines the cellar approach. This interpretation of Chardonnay belongs to Chacra's broader commitment to the landscape and ecosystem of Patagonia.
