Description

The white version of El Jardín de las Iguales is devoted to Macabeo from a historic vineyard at Alpartir in the Sierras del Jalón. Old bush vines grow without irrigation in the Barrandijos site, at around 700 metres above sea level, on a pronounced slope with slate and limestone soils. Bodegas Frontonio treats this heritage as the starting point for a hands-on approach that preserves the character of the place. The wine's identity rests on the combination of a local grape, mature vines and mountain landscape, central to the winery's work of vineyard recovery.
