Description

Boffalora’s “Runco de Onego” Sforzato di Valtellina is a DOCG wine from Valtellina made from Nebbiolo (locally called Chiavennasca) grapes that undergo drying (appassimento). Maturation includes roughly one year in barrel followed by bottle aging. The wine is typically full-bodied and concentrated, with aromatic notes of ripe fruit and spices characteristic of Valtellina sforzato.
