Description
Bollinger’s B16 interprets the 2016 harvest through later-ripening terroirs in the Montagne de Reims. The cuvée comes from a contrasting season in which initial cold, wet conditions gave way to a hot, dry summer. It spends seven years on the lees and receives a restrained dosage. Hawthorn, acacia honey, white fruit and bergamot appear on the nose, followed by almond and yellow fruit. The texture is silky and the palate retains lightness, balance and finesse, leading towards a persistent, delicate finish that extends its expression.
