Description

La Grande Année is Bollinger's vintage expression, made only when a harvest is considered worthy of the cuvée. Its blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay draws on Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards and maintains a direct connection with the house's traditional methods. Fermentation takes place in small oak barrels, followed by extended ageing on the lees under natural cork and manual riddling and disgorgement. It is a Champagne conceived for the table and for further development, placing the texture of the wine alongside the finesse of its bubbles.
