Description

La Grande Année Rosé combines Bollinger's vintage Champagne with red wine from La Côte aux Enfants, the steep Aÿ vineyard that holds a special place in the house's history. The Pinot Noir and Chardonnay blend gains an additional dimension from the carefully selected grapes destined for red-wine production. Fermentation in old oak barrels, maturation under cork, and manual riddling and disgorgement define its traditional approach. This is a gastronomic cuvée in which texture, depth and the potential to develop further accompany the finesse expected of a carefully made vintage Champagne.
