Description

Chardonnay Selezione is made by choosing the finest barrels in Borgo del Tiglio’s more favourable years. The process begins in the Ca’ delle Vallade and Monte Quarin vineyards, where exposure, vine age and local growing conditions are considered individually. Grapes are hand picked, sorted and gently pressed before fermentation in small French oak vessels, including new barrels. The lots retain their separate identities during maturation. Final tastings identify those destined for this separate bottling, which interprets Chardonnay through a particularly exacting selection of the estate’s individual wines.
