Description

Italo & Bruno is the Malvasia Istriana selection made from Borgo del Tiglio’s oldest vineyard in favourable years. Its name remembers the two brothers who owned the vines before the current estate. Malvasia vinification includes brief cold skin contact when conditions permit; after pressing, the juice ferments in small wooden barrels, generally previously used. The variety’s character combines aromatic delicacy with persistence, including youthful suggestions of rose that can give way to spicy nuances as the wine develops. The selection therefore links a particular vineyard with the history of its former owners.
