Description

Rosso della Centa is a pure Merlot from a small vineyard on the San Giorgio hill at Brazzano. The southwest-facing slope is supported by old dry-stone walls and has soils formed from the Collio’s marl and sandstone. Planted in 1970, the vineyard uses a Merlot selection called Ferrari. The wine is released only in years considered suitable for expressing its character. Work in the vineyard and cellar aims to combine richness, freshness and balance, with a recognisable aromatic nuance recalling bell pepper that distinguishes this particular site’s wine.
