Description

Studio di Bianco grew out of Borgo del Tiglio’s work at its Ruttars property in the Collio, purchased in 1989. Vinification and blending trials brought Friulano, Sauvignon and Rhine Riesling together in search of a shared expression of the vineyard. The southeast-facing slope and harvesting of ripe grapes are central to the project. Its aromatic profile suggests spice, juniper, resin and white peach, while bottle development can bring mineral nuances further forward. Produced in favourable years, it can also accompany strongly scented dishes featuring ingredients such as truffle and ginger.
