Description

Arbis Ròs from Borgo San Daniele is a pure Pignolo red wine associated with the revival of this Friulian grape. Its name refers to the wild herbs growing in the soils around the estate in Cormòns. The wine has a ruby colour and a profile in which an herbal nuance accompanies cherry, strawberry, raspberry and suggestions of blackberry jam. The variety favours dry, well-exposed sites. Its assertive youthful character can develop a more velvety texture with time, while retaining the distinctive identity of the Pignolo grape.
