Description

Borgogno’s 2022 Barolo is a red Barolo DOCG from the commune of Barolo in Piedmont. It is made from 100% Nebbiolo sourced from the estate’s historic vineyards (including Cannubi, Cannubi San Lorenzo, Fossati, Liste and San Pietro delle Viole). Production follows a traditional approach with spontaneous fermentation in concrete tanks, extended maceration and more than 24 months ageing in large Slavonian oak casks. Aromas of red fruit and spice lead into a palate with balanced acidity and refined tannins.
