Description

Borgogno’s Barolo Fossati is a single-vineyard Barolo made from 100% Nebbiolo grown in the Fossati site in Barolo. Winemaking includes spontaneous fermentation with extended maceration, followed by roughly four years' ageing in large Slavonian oak casks and additional bottle maturation. The south‑east facing Fossati vineyard sits on calcareous‑marl soils with sand, contributing floral and red‑fruit aromas alongside firm structure and balance.
