Description

Beaune du Château Rouge is a historic Bouchard Père & Fils cuvée, produced since 1907. It combines Pinot Noir from several Beaune Premier Crus, vinified separately to preserve each climat’s contribution before blending. The vineyards span limestone, marl and stony soils, offering a broad interpretation of the appellation. Hand harvesting and bunch selection precede vinification and maturation in French oak barrels. Its profile suggests red-fruit preserves, fig, peony and a light chocolate note. The palate has depth, supported by tannins that are dense yet fine in texture.
