Description

Beaune Vigne de l'Enfant Jésus 1er Cru 2017 is a red wine from the Côte de Beaune, produced from the Les Grèves (Vigne de l'Enfant Jésus) premier cru parcel by Bouchard Père & Fils. Made from Pinot Noir, it shows ripe red and black fruit aromas with hints of leather, spice and oak. Vinification includes cold maceration and pigeage, with post-fermentation extraction and devatting after about 18–20 days; élevage is 16–20 months in French oak barrels (35–40% new). It combines structure and silkiness with freshness and good long-term ageing potential.
